First off I love this intro (reminds me of a Chaka Kahn song). This song has a powerful beat and it’s unique. i hope radio give this song a listen. Great midday song. The label need to believe in this one (I love that sample”Girl”). Nicki did her thing on this but this story will need a great video to bring this home, here’s the stats

I like this song but I’m afraid it might get lost in the shuffle. Its summer and folkes are partying so these type of songs fly under the radar. The track is the best thing about this song. It’s hot and different. the performances are cool but Mario is sometimes overshadowed by that great “Girl” sample. The muscle on this song is low because this ain’t a street song but its cool. Radio will have to deliver this song (we’ll see). It’s summer and this is a better 1st quarter song (Jan-Mar). The label should have dropped it with the big dogs in Feb at least. The song itself is cool. So Dj’s what’s up with somebody else?

I love Ciara but I love Ciara the dance artist. Not this artist that’s struggling to try to stay on radio. What’s funny about “Body Party” is that it’s “My Boo” redone but just slower (Ghosttown DJ’s). This is what seperates Rihanna from Ciara. Rihanna goes out and find the best songs and adds her magic, whereas Ciara seems to just go in the studio of one of her friends and find the cheapest beat like she putting out a mixtape. Ciara should be as big as Rihanna but until she and her camp decide to invest in big songs by big writers she’ll always get these results. ”Body Party” seems to be climbing the BDS charts, because this is a cool midday song and the label is begging radio for the slot. But is this song selling and to who? Ciara be brave, team up with Janelle Monet or try to get some of Rihanna’s writers on your team. Develope a world appeal in your music that matches your look. You should be doing pop dance hits that appeal to a world market, not just Decatur Ga. You do know that you and Future have two totally different markets that you sell to. His market is nowhere as worldwide as yours.

The track is normal and her performance was cool, nothing blazing. The streets will like this cut but they wont carry it and for some reason there seems to be an invisible hand helping this in radio (there are better song out there). The timing is cool because its slow but it’s summer (spring break) and this song doesn’t really inspire cook outs or days at the beach (IJS).

Teen females will be cool with this but not crazy about it. Teen male won’t know it existed. young females will groove to it and young male will be so so with this song. But will anyone buy and why?
